Alltel San Antonio Texas...worth it?

Alltel has recently come to San Antonio and sounds pretty good...too good. Whats the catch? Dropped calls? Bad customer service? Restrictions?

They are a regional carrier. Even with a "national" plan, there are a few areas of the country that "roaming rates" apply. The "mycircle" plans sound nice, huh? Well, if they are new to the area, what good is their free mobile to mobile calling if no one in the area has it? So you will need the mycircle option in order to stay with a similar amount of monthly minutes. Right now, they are looking for a buyer, so I would wait a little bit on them to see how things shake out. If you are interested in Sprint or Nextel service, let me know and we'll see about getting an employee rate.
