LG "Chocolate" VX8500 MP3, Java?
Just switched to VZW, and I am evaluating a VX8500, the closest thing I could find to my Cingular Samsung SGH-D807.
I can load MP3 tracks onto the VX from the microSd, but the transfer to phone protocol seems flaky (but I'm just barely learning.) Can I install MP3 clips as ringtones? *Nothing* in the "manual"... How about Java apps? I used Opera Mini and a very fine scientific calculator on the Samsung, among other downloads (Getjar.com). I found Opera for the VX, but little else. Any suggestions? Thanks!
