Whats A Cell Phone?

Hi Everyone,
I've searched through the LG Forum to see if anyone has reported this specific problem, but I could not find anything. My apologies if I missed a thread. I am having problems with the camera feature on my LG TG800 Chocolate phone. The camera worked fine when I first purchased the phone, but now, when I select the 'camera' feature, the window opens with the camera icon, but then the phone freezes in that window for about a minute, times out, and then returns me back to the 'home' window in 'emergency only' mode. I'm afraid that I may have deleted something inadvertantly when I was syncing my phone to my computer. Has anyone else experienced this? When I select the 'video camera' feature from the media menu, the phone just freezes in the media menu for about a minute and then returns me to the home menu after a timeout with the same 'emergency only' message. This is really frustrating, since it's a brand new phone and I'm not a complete goof when it comes to all things technological. This is my first camera phone, though, so I had pretty high expectations that I could *at least* use the camera feature. Is there anywhere online that I can find the *original* file structure of the phone so that I can perhaps refresh it when syncing to my computer? Everything else seems to work fine - ringtones, mp3s, wallpapers - just not the camera/video camera. I've tried restoring to the default settings and clearing the multimedia memory but nothing seems to work. Sigh. :smurf: Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! BP |

hey im so inexperienced when it comes to phones and any technology lol so i cant help you with your problem but i thought since you have a the same phone as me you might be able to help me out.
I just bought this phone from a friend but the disc wasnt included. Everytime i plug the usb into my phone something pops up in the corner of my computer screen saying: "USB device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it" What does it mean and how do i fix it? i tried going onto my phone pressing settings - connectivity - modem - then activating modem. Its done this on 2 different computers so i know theres no problem with the computer. I have a sim card in the phone its just not registered, im on pay as you go, i dont have minutes on it yet and it doesnt even have a phone number, i dont know if that would make a difference or not. Please tell me what Im supposed to do to fix this, its fustrating! Thanks |
