Motorola Razr USB question....?

I'm trying to transfer songs from my computer to my Razr v3....I got the USB cable and when I plug it into my phone my computer makes a sound but nothing pops up. And there is no ICONS in the taskbar.

I dont think I have the software either, what software do I need and where can I get it?
I have a sim card (2 GB) in it so memory shouldnt be a problem
i have a local phone service. It is called Blugrass Cellular....I live in the country so there is a lot of bad spots for reception. Thats why we have our own seperate company.

I think Verizon may own that company but sure.

If you trying to put media on it,it wont hold much because only the verizon v3 has a media card slot.
