Can't Decide Which Phone...?
Im looking on Ebay at either the RIM Blackberry 7100g or the Palm Treo 600 ... But I can't decide which is better? The Palm Treo is running about 50 bucks more, but it has a camera, the Blackberry doesnt... But I know for sure the Blackberry is compatible with Cingular - my provider.. I dont know about the Palm Treo...
Anyone recommend one over the other? And know the service provider compatiblity? |

If the Treo is unlocked and can take sim cards it will work with Cingular.
Why don't you post a link and we'll have a closer look.... |

BlackBerry 7130 brief review
I have had lots of smartphones, beginning with Treo's. I have nothing bad to say about a Treo, however they do have limitations. I had three and they had issues with email and locking up. Each one was a bit different but the bottom line was it bugged me so I went to a Moto-Q.
The Moto-Q was not much better, so I tried a Blackjack. That was even worse as it continued to shut down and the OS was really slow. They replaced it under warranty and the new one had the same issues. Then I finally tried a BlackBerry. I had stayed away from them earlier because of the size. However I read so many good reports regarding reliability and email that I finally tried one. The first one was a 7130 which is shaped like a regular candybar phone. It's the same weight as Moto V551, so it's light and small. It's shaped like a SLVR L7. About 4mm wider, 2mm taller, and 4mm thicker. It has mini USB so it connects to your laptop or pc with a standard cable (included). The internet experience is really great as they have the browser optimized for speed. Plus I downloaded Opera mini. The screen is really bright and large, the battery life is awesome and it has not crashed or failed at all in the nearly 6 months I've had it now. It's the fastest smartphone I have used. Great speaker phone, and it syncs with Outlook perfectly. RF reception of the phone is great, with good call quality and clarity, and a nice range of volume control. |
