Actually, no... I think it would be more helpful if the OP told us what he's looking for from a phone. That way we can suggest specific models, pointing out their ups and downs, to better help him or her make a decision. Just a suggestion :)

Great Point! I agree, by knowing what the OP is looking for in a phone we are in a much better position to share our experiences, thoughts and suggestions.

Actually I have used CDMA & Sprint in the past, and enjoyed the service. Then GSM phones began to roll out in the US, which offered me the opportunity to carry just one phone when traveling out of the country.

That said, I will add that although I'm very happy with Cingular/at&t, I keep and open mind and I'm not married to any brand of phone, or carrier.

I'm fully aware of the rapid advancement of new technologies, especially since I have a high tech company. Therefore I'm always watching as the tech sector moves forward with new phones/devices/etc. Never a dull moment...
