Katana, Sanyo
Is there any way to play a mp3, which i send to my phone from my computer, on my sanyo katana as a ringtone?

im pretty sure you can do that with this phone. did you get a usb device with the phone?

If you can do it, it doesn't make a diff if he transfers it via usb cable or via bluetooth.

The Katana will not play ringtones in the mp3 format, only qcp can be used. It's real music but poor quality. I used the preloaded ringers when I had the Katana.

yeah and sprint won't let you send ringtones via BT you have to upload them or use a data cable

So what wil work through Bluetooth? I'm thinking of getting one of these prepaid (Total Call Mobile) and I'm wondering just what can I do over Bluetooth. My Moto v323i lets me do EVERYTHING over Bluetooth, but I suppose the Katana is basically headset-use-only, as it's really just a low-end Sanyo witha thin body and a high-res screen?
