You last visited:
Two questions:
1) Is there any way to install a link in the thread title list in the subforums to go straight to the first unread reply? As frequently as my computer has been locking up, it would be nice to be able to cut in half the number of clicks I must make to get to the new replies. 2) Is there a way to manually set the time I last visited in order to reset the "My cellphoner" list to accurately show which threads have new replies? Again, the computer locking up thing causes my "You last visited" section to be inaccurate regularly. I'm thinking of something like where you can "mark all forums read" only more like "mark all forums read after 5:00 p.m. CST" for example. Thanks! Did I mention I LOVE this place? Really! Y'all do a great job! |

See, the problem with the New Post method is that when I get frozen/locked out and have to reboot my computer or browser window, the site defaults me back to my last previous visit before the one I got booted out of. Are you confused yet? LOL! If that visit before last was much longer than a few minutes before the one I got booted from, then when I got to My Cellphoner to read my subscribed threads, they're ALL bolded again even though I've read most of them already.
Resetting the time zone is an interesting idea - I'll have to try that. |

Thank you, Rekull, I've been thinking that perhaps it's my Firefox that is the culprit. You just confirmed that idea to be logical. The rest of my Windows-based programs are not having any problems at all right now. I run Firefox on a flash drive (portableapps.com edition), and when I tried to run it off its regular version installed on my desktop recently, it just gave a blank page with nothing to click on anywhere. I'm starting to think now that either my flash drive is wearing out or I need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Thanks!
