at&t (cingular) gophone pay as you go prepaid...
...cell phone - a few questions? I am considering an at&t prepaid pay as you go phone. I'm not sure if I should go with the $0.25/minute and no daily access fee, or the $0.10/min + $1 daily access fee + unlimited mobile to mobile. The unlimited mobile to mobile doesn't matter that much because I only know one other person on at&t. I want to know about the daily access fee. The at&t website says that you only pay the fee when you use your phone to make a voice call, but on other sites that offer the plan, it says you pay the fee on days you use the phone. Does anyone have the plan and can clarify? If it's only for voice messages and not texts, the one with the fee would probably be a better choice for me. I don't make a ton of calls, but when I do they are usually a few minutes. And if you have this, any problems? Where is the cheapest place to get a phone for it, online or at Wal-mart or something? I am thinking of getting the $100/365 day card, seems like the best deal. Thanks!I'm positive the at&t prepaid only charges the fee on days you use the phone, I just don't know what constitutes usage. Virgin coverage is kinda spotty in my area, it wouldn't be good for me. T-mobile gets no coverage at my house. Verizon has good coverage in the area, but their's costs so much in fees that I'd be better off with a contract. I dunno about Tracfone, their coverage map is not very detailed.I guess if anyone has anything specific to the Lockport and Amherst area around Buffalo, NY, that'd be super, but that's probably a long shot.and are you charged the $1 for checking your voicemail from a landline?
