Whats A Cell Phone?

If I buy a T-Mobile "to GO" phone, will it work
with my contract T-mobile SIM card? I broke my phone and they have these T-mobile to go phones for like 15 bucks with a phone and a charger. If I stick my contracted Tmobile phone into it, will it work? Thank you for all your replies.

no duh cheap phone can't hold sim card especially a go phone which is paid by the minute rather than a plan which a sim card is specificially designed for. The go phone has no slot for a sim card.

I sincerely hope this is a joke.....any T-Mobile branded phone (ToGo phone or yard sale rescue) will work with a T-Mobile SIM card.....

While I'm not on T-Mobile, it is my understanding that their pre-paid phones will work with any T-Mobile or Cingular sim card.

You should be able to use it. I had to do the same thing until I received my replacement phone in the mail.

no. pre-paid phone operate differently than contract phones. they use pre-paid cards not sims. it will be a tremporary fix but a good value choice until you get another phone.

You most certainly can use a cheap TMobile To Go phone with your post paid TMobile service. Take your SIM card out of the broken phone and put in into the To Go phone and you're ready to make and receive calls just as your did before your other phone broke.

You are absolutely right, Thanks for correcting me: :bulb:
The T-Mobile phones are locked to T-Mobile and the Cingular phones locked to Cingular. Thanks what I get for having too many phones, some locked, some not, and a bit of brain fade..... a dangerous combination....:geek: Cheers... |

So in summary...
YES! Your postpaid SIM will work in ANY T-mobile Phone (including Prepaid)! It will also work in any unlocked GSM phone as well as long as it supports the 1900MHz band (850MHz band is also recommended for roaming). |
