Samsung t509 T-Mobile to Go- USE with Cingular ??
I have a contract with cingular for the past years. and since it became ATT it will not allow me to upgrade with put paying almost 200 for a phone!! I was checking out T-mobile and they have better plans than cingular for the same price like with cingular now I [ well my dad] pays 50.00$ for 450 minutes!!! with tmobile we can get 1000 for the same price.. and they have better phones too. well I was cheking their website and they sell the Samsung t509 to use with t mobile to go service-I want that phone , but my dad dosnt want to move... so i was thinking of buying it. but is it possible to buy it and get it unlock and use it with my cingular sim card service, will i still be able to text ??? with my cingular network? thanx's

Yes, as long as you have the samsung unlocked, you would simply pop the Cingular sim in and you would be good to go for voice and text.If the phone has the capability to access the web and you want to do that, you would have to change the GPRS settings from t-mobiles to Cingular.

You will have to have T-Mobile service for a minimum of 90 days and have added a card in the last 30 days before you ask for an unlock code. Going overseas is a good reason to want your phone unlocked. Don’t spill beer on the phone it will not work after that.
Make sure T-Mobile has coverage in your area, T-Mobile's coverage in not nearly as good as at&t and T-Mobile will not roam on at&t's network in many parts of the country. |
