Pre-paid SIM question.
On EBay is see T-Mobil pre-paid activated SIMs selling for $6. 145 minutes with 30 to 60 days of service. Will they work in any unlocked GSM phone:question:

Can you add air time to the phone just by buying cards and T-Mobil will have no personal information?

If you have an unlocked GSM phone, you can buy those SIMs off ebay and just use them up till they're empty, and NEVER buy refill cards. In that circumstance, the only person who would have a clue who you were would be the person who sold you the SIMs. And if you had them shipped to an anonymous address using a fake name, even they wouldn't have to know.

But to answer your question Yes, you can add airtime right from the mobile handset itself by going through TZones, no personal information needed. Once there select the option to add airtime and enter your pin code. You will receive a text message confirming that the airtime has been added and when the airtime expires. |

The whole point to these exercises is that some people don't want their SS number loose in the world, let alone attached to a record of everybody they've ever called or received calls from, or GPS tracking of where they've been. Anonymous prepaid has its place in life, lol! (And no, I'm not being chased by any three-letter agencies, AFAIK!)

1) A little paranoia is very healthy for any woman. 2) Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you. 3) It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you. |
