Does anybody have a pay as you go phone with T-Mobile? I'm thinkin about getting one but would like some info on them. Like, do refill cards give you minutes or money on your phone and if u get minutes, how does it charge for text messages??

By purchasing refill cards for your TMobile To Go account you will be adding airtime minutes to it.

$10 = 30 minutes (expires in 30 days)

$25 = 130 minutes (expires in 90 days)

$50 = 400 minutes (expires in 90 days)

$100 = 1000 minutes (instant gold rewards value status, minutes don't expire for 1 year.)

Airtime minutes will be deducted from your account for the amount text messages that you send or receive, as with voicemail, and picture messaging.

Example: you just purchased a $100.00 with 1000 minutes on your account @ a rate of .10 cents per minute. You check your voicemail from your phone for one minute (you now have 990 minutes remaining in your account).

Also, after you add a $100 card or the first card after you reach $100 in increments, all future airtime cards extend your due date by 1 full year, even the $10 cards.

And also, when you dial #999# to check your balance, it will tell you in both dollars and minutes. This way, text messages can drain your dollar balance but not charge you for a full minute.

Just to clarify, dialing #999# does NOT cost anything - it is FREE.

Ways to drain your $ balance include voice, text, pictures, and downloading ringtones and/or wallpapers.

T-zones is FREE (neutered, but still free, lol).
