The RIM rep was in my store today and she said unfortunately that the new Blackberry model that Cingular is supposed to get on Feb 20th is not yet conclusively coming to T-mobile. She didn't give any specifics as to why but she did say that a decision should be forthcoming in the next month or so and if so, she hopes on a late March release. Thats all tentative though and so far its not for sure. I really hope T-mobile gets this device as the Pearl is so popular but the keyboard turns away alot of blackberry users who are so familiar with the full qwerty keyboard. This phone would be an excellent bridge from the 8700 series to a multimedia blackberry with a full keyboard.

On another note, I saw the new T329 today. I was actually impressed, a nice bright screen and it is noticeably smaller than the pebl. I loved this phone for a customer who doesn't care for a full fledged high end phone but doesn't like the lower end models like the 209. Not sure about pricing but it was a very cool phone, I'd def consider it as a back up.

I agree, it had a nice camera for vga quality, loud earpiece and its rf equaled my trace which I have found to be simply one of the best rf phones I have used in a long time.
