Nokia 2126i is SINGLE RATE !
Now there are two CDMA Single Rate choices, the LG 3280 and the Nokia 2126i. I got my Nokia today at a Dollar General store. SPECIAL NOTE: The Nokia 2126 IS NOT Single Rate, the back of the package must say Nokia 2126i (The phone is on sale for $14.99 !)

I have to check at Wal Mart. I saw this phone for $29.99, the first CDMA phone in my area. I have to check and see if it is the i. It is a bit late as I bought the LG to get a single rate CDMA phone about a month ago for $39.99.

About the 2126i vs. the 2126 vs. the $30 2126i, the $30 phone comes with 60 minutes. The $15 one doesn't. That's the only difference. As to the 3280 I've been getting wierd reports that a few of them aren't SingleRate...wha???...but mine is, and I think most of 'em are. I'm upgrading my parents to the new 2126i's for the Single-Rate feature and because of the new "30 minutes extra after your first refill" promotion that started around the beginning of the year. That alone will pay for the phones in a few months, not to mention the free roaming and slightly cheaper text...
