Has anyone ever used a TracFone as a dial-up modem with a laptop?

Any TracFone with any port on the laptop, I don't want to spend $60 on a cable and software if I can't make it work.

Not me, sorry. But I have heard about people using Boost phones for tethering.

I think your comment on tracfone_users was probably dead-on accurate. Let somebody else go first, loL!
